Great offering, my account couldn't be authenticated initially but then I realized I must enter the "login" in all lower case irrespective of how it was created on bit.ly - so far so good - thanks TweetLater (now I can track clicks)

Deksels !

Dolf

This is a really tough one to implement, especially for accounts that run into the new follower limits. The account runs into the limit because it gets many new followers per day. If you take today's "excess" followers and bump them into tomorrow, tomorrow's deficit just becomes larger. It's a rolling snow ball that just gets bigger and bigger. In principle it's a cool idea, but in practice it won't work.

Adding Bit.ly as a primary URL shortening service is a great idea. I appreciate this feature and assume other users will too.
